What are some of the projects you are currently working on? As of right now I've been working on edits, making my transitions and bootlegging. Basically chopping songs up and re-arranging them adding a bit of this and that. I'm trying to get into the producing side of music. Hopefully soon I'll be producing my own original stuff. As far as the Club Scene I'm collaborating with different DJ's throwing our own events, and of course working with club promoters at some of the hottest venues in LA and Hollywood.
Speaking of the LA and Hollywood Club Scene, what's one of the wildest things you've seen? Um the wildest? I mean there's been a lot of things, fights, shootings but I would have to say the drunk girls are the best, lol. I'm talking about them girls that hop up on stage, shake it all, get butt naked type of drunk. Not that that's what I look for but it happens haha. I've seen some hot women, the type that all the dudes in the club try to holler at... end up in the corner somewhere with throw up all over them.
So what have been your top favorite venues you've worked at? By far I'd have to say The Vanguard, Playhouse and Cabana Club in Hollywood.
So what's your favorite genre of music to play? Oh man this is a tuff question. I grew up spinning house music back in the "Hard House" days but my heart stays with that throwback Hip-Hop. You know some Biggie, Pac, Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul that old flava. What was the last piece of vinyl you bought? I just bought these Def Jam 25th Anniversary records a few months back.
Do you have any advice for upcoming DJ's? Yeah man... First, stay true to the art form. Also, being a cocky DJ can only get you so far so stay humble. You never know if the dude your dissing will be a better DJ one day or even be the dude in charge of booking the DJ's.
