Hey, hey, hey! It’s 2012!
Let’s start off the year right. This post is going to be filled with cheesy cliches :D
IT’S 2012! Do you know what that means? It means new beginnings, new chapters in life, new loves, new awakenings! It’s going to be filled with new friendships and directing energy towards partnerships. Well, at least that’s what my Yahoo! horoscope says.
It is time for a change. Time to open yourselves up and be willing to meet and explore new things, new people and new aspects of yourself.
And maybe I’m just writing this for myself, but still. I feel really good about 2012. And I’ve never felt that way about a year before. I always thought it was dumb. But now… I kind of get it. Some people need that fresh start. Whether it be every year or every six years. Fresh starts are what keep people interesting, I think. And whether they write a long ass essay like this or a short one liner stating a resolution or a wish. I get it now.
New Year. New Beginnings. Not necessarily a new me, just… a better US.
& May the new year bring you joy and happiness and love.

ReplyDeletefirst time listener & enjoyed it. good stuff. I agree with Dude on keeping old pictures. the attachment can be with your younger self, not the ex on the pic or letter.
I see it as a time machine taking me back to my younger self;
what i said , what i did, what i liked, Why i liked it. My vocab. or lack of. its a grow process. good reminders. i don't repeat the same mistakes.
Plus, I adore all my exes. They are good people and our time together helped me become the women i am today.
I don't need to burn or throw meaningful memories of Myself.
My husband recognizes it as part of my journey.
I like that there is a female Host! Ying and Yang.. but You can project yourself so much better chica. Your way of thinking is respectable but a tad bit juvenile. Keep in mind that u r in a position of Influence, maybe think a bit longer on what ur answers and deep thoughts are. After all, only You are responsible for your Projection on to others. You can lead a generation of Intelligent Latina Women.
